The School Board (Školská rada) is a statutory body enabling legal guardians of underage pupils, adult students, pedagogical staff, and the school founder to participate in school governance. It was established in accordance with Sections 167 and 168 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll. (the Education Act).

Powers and Responsibilities of the School Board
The School Board convenes at least twice a year and, in compliance with the Education Act, primarily:
comments on proposals for School Education Programmes and their subsequent implementation,
approves the Annual Report on School Activities,
approves the School Code and proposes amendments,
approves the rules for evaluating students' educational results,
participates in formulating strategic plans for school development,
discusses the budget proposal and comments on the school's financial management.
